Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in a primarily outpatient setting (approximately 90% outpatient), with additional acute care coverage as needed
• Manage a mixed outpatient caseload consisting of approximately 70% adult patients (orthopedic, neurological, fine motor conditions) and 30% pediatric patients
• Cover acute care responsibilities when outpatient volume is low or when additional coverage is required; acute caseload consists of adult and geriatric patients
• Perform basic splinting for hand therapy patients as applicable
• May be required to be on call for acute stroke coverage on holidays (acute care and AM only); provider must be available to arrive at the facility within 30 minutes of receiving a call, with a minimum call-back period of two hours

Required Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Occupational Therapist license
• BLS certification required
• Adult and pediatric outpatient background required
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation for acute stroke coverage on holidays
• References required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Basic splinting skills, particularly for hand therapy patients
• Experience with orthopedic, neurological, and fine motor outpatient populations
• Familiarity with acute care and geriatric patient management
