RN – Operating Room (Surgery)

Contract | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a Level 3 Trauma Center surgical environment
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a range of surgical procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation — approximately one call shift per week within a 6-week schedule, covering 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Participate in weekend call rotation — approximately one weekend call (Saturday or Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM) every 5 weeks
• Must be able to respond to the facility within 30 minutes of call activation by a supervisor

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or compact eligibility
• BLS certification required
• Operating Room / Surgical nursing experience required
• Ability to respond to the facility within 30 minutes when on call

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a trauma center setting
• Proficiency in both scrub and circulating roles
• Experience with a broad range of surgical specialties
