Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Nights)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit within a 97-bed acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, care delivered, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Support a safe patient environment across a facility offering surgical services, emergency care, intensive care, and specialty services

Required Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Virginia or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Telemetry setting
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care environment
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring systems and telemetry-specific workflows
• Experience working within a hospital system offering specialty services such as orthopedics, cardiac care, or surgical services
