Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend | No call | No holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across therapy-level to PCU-level acuity, developing and implementing individualized care plans within a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5, flexed to 1:6
• Assess patient conditions, administer treatments and medications, and monitor outcomes, recognizing and responding to changes in condition or complications
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to ensure quality, patient-centered care
• Deliver patient education, health counseling, and discharge planning
• Supervise and delegate appropriate nursing tasks while maintaining accountability for overall patient care
• Ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements, practicing within Ohio RN scope of practice and nursing standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active BLS certification required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems (training available for qualified candidates)
• HARP and/or CPI certification (training available for qualified candidates)
• Background in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing
• Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, quality outcomes, and professional nursing standards
