Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend | No call | No holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and develop individualized care plans for patients ranging from therapy level to PCU level of care, within a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 (may flex to 1:6)
• Assess patient conditions, administer treatments and medications, and monitor outcomes
• Recognize and respond to patient complications and changes in condition, applying strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to ensure quality, patient-centered care
• Deliver patient education, health counseling, and discharge planning
• Supervise and delegate appropriate nursing tasks while maintaining accountability for patient care, safety, confidentiality, and compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license in good standing
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active BLS certification required
• Ability to practice within Ohio RN scope of practice and nursing standards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC and Pyxis (training available for qualified candidates)
• HARP/CPI certification (training available for qualified candidates)
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Background in Med/Surg Telemetry or PCU-level patient care
