Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Projected Start: November 2, 2026 | Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
- Manage and monitor patients requiring ventilator and tracheostomy care, central line management, and wound care
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and adherence to facility standards
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:6
Required Qualifications
- Active Colorado RN license or multi-state compact RN license
- ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (required at time of submission)
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required at time of submission)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical RN experience in LTAC or a related specialty
- Demonstrated experience with ventilator/tracheostomy management and knowledge of central lines
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Wound care experience in an acute or long-term acute care setting
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in an LTAC environment
