Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Evening Shift (5x8 Hours, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) | Weekdays with possible weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties in a busy, large hospital setting
• Support surgical procedures in General, GYN, Orthopedic, Neurological, and Robotic specialties
• Adapt to varied case assignments and provide coverage for shifts as scheduling needs arise
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout the perioperative process

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — South Carolina state license or compact license required and must be in hand at time of submittal
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience
• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
• EPIC electronic health records experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Neuro, Ortho, and Robotic surgery specialties
• Comfort and proficiency working across multiple surgical service lines
• Experience in a high-volume or large acute care hospital environment
