Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays As Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5, with the possibility of 1:6
• Monitor telemetry patients, with telemetry oversight managed on a separate unit
• Float as needed to all acute care areas, cardiology (for medical patients), and the EC for acute care patient holds
• Utilize CNA support staff, who maintain a general ratio of 1:8–1:10 and may serve as sitters
• Document and manage patient care using Meditech EMR
• Maintain compliance with all unit protocols, scrub color requirements (Caribbean Blue), and scheduling expectations

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Georgia
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• NIHSS certification required (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Minimum 1 prior travel assignment required
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility (as verified by the address on the candidate's driver's license) to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred, though not required
• Prior Medical Surgical travel nursing experience
• Comfort with floating across multiple acute care settings
