Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Free Standing Emergency Department)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM | Rotating Weekends | No On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 11-bed Free Standing Emergency Department setting
• Perform IV starts and conduct 12-lead EKGs and comprehensive patient assessments
• Operate and monitor ventilators and point-of-care lab machines as needed
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with a small, close-knit team including charge nurses and support staff to deliver high-quality emergency care
• Rotate weekend shifts as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency nursing experience
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR or ability to quickly adapt to new systems
• Ability to perform IV starts, 12-lead EKGs, and patient assessments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED) experience
• Experience working in a low-volume, high-acuity or independent emergency care environment
• Team-oriented, inclusive, and collaborative approach to patient care
