Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Night Shift)

Location

Georgetown, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a 14-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
Operate and manage IV therapy using Alaris pumps and other unit equipment
Document and manage patient records using the MEDITECH EMR system
Assist with and support procedures including bronchoscopy and EGD/colonoscopy
Collaborate with a team consisting of RNs, PCTs, and a float charge nurse coordinator on both day and night shifts

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
BLS certification required
NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

ACLS certification
Rhythm interpretation skills
Flexible, team-oriented personality well-suited to a collaborative unit environment
