Contract | Full-Time | Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | 8-hour shifts | Expected 40 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional independence and quality of life
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation team members to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in the state of Nevada
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
- Experience in an acute rehabilitation or similar clinical setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital environment
- Familiarity with interdisciplinary team-based care models
- Experience treating neurological, orthopedic, or complex medical conditions
