Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 18-bed Neuro CCU/ICU setting with a 1:2 RN-to-patient ratio
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including cardiac monitors, ventilators, IV pumps, tube feed pumps, EVDs/LDs, continuous EEG, lumbar drains, Arctic Sun, and Licox systems
• Assist with and support procedures such as intubations, central line placement, EVD/LD placement, and Licox catheter placement
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs, CNCs, and patient care technicians across day and night shifts

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for practice in Colorado
• Minimum 1 year of current ICU experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience caring for neurological patient populations
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
