Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry setting with the ability to float to Intensive Care and General Medical units within the facility
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Perform NIHSS assessments as required within the scope of practice
• Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
• Must be willing and able to float to Intensive Care and General Medical units
• Must live at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience (at least 1 previous assignment in a General setting)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Experience performing NIHSS assessments
