Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Rotating Weekends as Needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 31-bed Emergency Department serving all age populations, including behavioral health and acute patients
- Maintain a 1:4 patient ratio, with flexibility during high-volume periods, admit holds, or when a patient requires immediate care
- Utilize MedHost (ED) as the primary EHR, with Meditech used for admit holds and behavioral health patients
- Float to other areas of the department as needed
- Collaborate as part of a professional, compassionate, and team-oriented care environment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum 5 years of Emergency Department experience required; candidates with combined ICU and ED experience will also be considered
- Required certifications prior to start: ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS or ENPC
- Handle with Care certification (available on-site)
- Must consent to random drug screening and complete a Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form prior to placement
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Extensive Emergency Room experience beyond the minimum requirement
- Experience with MedHost and/or Meditech EHR systems
- Professional, positive, and compassionate demeanor with strong team-player qualities
