Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | Weekdays with Every Other Weekend | Contract, Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting with an average patient-to-nurse ratio of 0.2 PPD
• Manage patients requiring conscious sedation, telemetry monitoring, and mechanical ventilation
• Administer and monitor care in accordance with ICU protocols and physician orders
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient census
• Document patient care accurately using CPSI EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active WV RN license or valid Compact RN license (pending license accepted at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS (BCLS) and ACLS certifications required — must be through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Proficiency in conscious sedation, telemetry, and mechanical ventilators required
• Must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility; candidates between 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN certification preferred
• Prior experience with CPSI or CERNER EMR systems
• Experience in a travel nursing capacity is a plus, though not required
