Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to support patient outcomes
• Maintain valid state licensure and present state or federal issued photo identification upon arrival at the facility; a photo badge must be worn at all times while on site

Required Qualifications

• Active California Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in good standing
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred or eligibility required
• Valid state or federal issued photo identification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting
• Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment
• Familiarity with Medicare documentation and compliance requirements
