Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit with a focus on orthopedic and bariatric patient populations
• Administer and manage medications using the Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Document and manage patient records using EPIC EMR
• Float to other like units or nearby campuses as needed based on census demands, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies
• Complete required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements prior to start date

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN License (or compact license accepted per state guidelines)
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit; first-time travelers must have a minimum of 3 years of experience within the specialty
• Minimum 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience required
• Must live more than 100 miles from all system facilities to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 50–99.9 miles from the contracted campus may be considered at a reduced rate for night shift positions in this specialty; candidates under 50 miles are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience with orthopedic and/or bariatric patient populations
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
