Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population including traumas, STEMIs, stroke, cardiac, GI, and psychiatric cases
• Manage patient assignments across pod, critical, and fast track areas with varying acuity levels and patient ratios
• Utilize Cerner EHR for accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality emergency nursing care
• Adhere to department dress code and unit protocols; participate in weekend coverage (4 weekend shifts per 4-week period)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel consideration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma nursing experience
• Pediatric emergency care experience
• Experience with high-acuity and mixed patient populations
