Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | 13 Weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing in an ICU setting, with expected floating between Neuroscience ICU (NSICU) and Surgical ICU (SICU) to areas of equal or lesser care
• Perform and apply NIHSS assessments, lumbar procedures, ventriculostomy, and ICP management
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, various cranial drains, and mechanical ventilation
• Administer and monitor concurrent intravenous drips including pain management, sedation, and vasopressors
• Implement temperature management protocols including hypo- and hyperthermia protocols and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
• Fulfill expected weekend commitment of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS Certification required
• Experience in a tertiary care facility
• Must reside at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Experience in neuroscience or surgical ICU environments
