Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend | No call | No holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and develop individualized care plans for patients ranging from therapy level of care to PCU level of care, within a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 (may flex to 1:6)
• Assess patient conditions, administer treatments and medications, and monitor outcomes
• Recognize and respond to patient complications and changes in condition in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to ensure quality, patient-centered care
• Deliver patient education, health counseling, and discharge planning
• Supervise and delegate appropriate nursing tasks while maintaining accountability for patient care, safety, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active BLS certification required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Commitment to patient safety, quality outcomes, and professional nursing standards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems (training available)
• HARP/CPI certification (training available)
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a high-acuity, fast-paced healthcare environment
