Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical floor with adult patient ratios of 1:5
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard scheduling rotation
• Expect to work some holidays as part of scheduling requirements
• Float to other units in rotation with staff, in accordance with facility floating policies and candidate clinical experience
• Complete required onboarding and annual modules through the Relias/Net Learning portal (non-billable, averaging 4–8 hours)
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (pending license may be considered)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR is required
• First-time travel nurses are not eligible for this position
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with adult Medical Surgical patient populations in a high-acuity setting
• Familiarity with Joint Commission standards related to floating and patient care
• Ability to adapt to varied unit environments when floating
