Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Day Shift | Varied shift times (9:00 AM–9:00 PM / 10:00 AM–10:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from a wide range of surgical procedures including general, neuro, oncology, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries
• Maintain a 1:2 patient ratio in a 26-bed PACU unit located adjacent to the OR
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Adhere to ASPAN Guidelines for post-anesthesia nursing practice
• Participate in on-call rotation, including one night per week and two weekends over the 13-week contract
• Float to Day Surgery as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas
• PACU experience required
• ICU experience required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation (nights and weekends)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with a broad range of surgical specialties including neuro, oncology, orthopedics, and vascular
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Easygoing, team-oriented personality with strong interpersonal skills
