Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed Labor & Delivery unit with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Circulate C-sections as required on the unit
• Serve in a charge nurse capacity — charge experience is required and candidates must be willing to work charge
• Document patient care using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with unit technicians and unit secretarial support available each shift
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Active Texas RN License required — temporary licenses will not be accepted
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Fetal Monitoring (FM) / AWHONN certification required
• Must be willing and able to work charge nurse shifts
• Expected schedule includes 4 weekend shifts per month

Preferred Experience / Skills

• RNC (Registered Nurse Certified) specialty certification
• Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
