Job Title

Registered Nurse – Telemetry (RN)

Location

Rocky Mount, NC | Telemetry / Stepdown Unit

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

Provide clinically competent nursing care to patients on a Telemetry/Stepdown unit
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
Administer and manage cardiac drip infusions as ordered
Float to additional units (including COVID unit) as needed based on census and staffing
Complete neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS per protocol

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Telemetry experience required
Cardiac drip experience required
Basic Arrhythmia certification required (minimum passing score of 85%)
NIHSS certification required (annually)
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Prior experience in a Stepdown or progressive care setting
