Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Room (11a–11p, 3x12s Mid-Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Three 12-hour shifts per week, 11:00 AM–11:00 PM | Every other weekend | No on-call or holiday requirements | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, 65-bed Emergency Department across varied acuity zones including Shock, Core, Psych, and Exam areas
• Maintain appropriate patient ratios per zone (Shock 2:1, Core 4:1, Psych 3:1, Exam 6:1) while delivering safe, effective nursing care
• Operate unit equipment including Alaris Pumps, Phillips Monitors, Belmont Rapid Infuser, and Rover
• Document accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Float to other areas according to skill set as needed
• Maintain compliance with all required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Indiana (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Previous experience in a large Emergency Department setting required
• Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to adjust to fluctuating patient volumes
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Familiarity with Alaris Pumps, Phillips Monitors, and Belmont Rapid Infuser
