Contract | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 12-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and clinical judgment in planning and delivering safe, high-quality patient care
• Manage and monitor patients requiring ventilator and tracheostomy care, central lines, and wound care
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or multi-state compact RN license required
• ACLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in LTAC or related setting
• Demonstrated experience with ventilator/tracheostomy management and central line care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Wound care experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Telemetry experience or background in a high-acuity clinical environment
