Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit serving an adult population with occasional pediatric patients
• Manage a patient caseload with an expected nurse-to-patient ratio of 7:1
• Care for patients presenting with common diagnoses including CHF, COPD, syncope, non-STEMI, DKA, wound issues, THR, TKR, lumbar surgery, general surgery, and COVID
• Document and manage patient records using the Sorian EMR system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams in a critical-access hospital setting; no on-call requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Step-Down/SCU and Emergency Department (ED) experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are also welcome to apply (local rate will apply)
• ASAP start availability required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS and/or PALS certification preferred
• Charge nurse or supervisor experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with pediatric patient populations
• Familiarity with the Sorian EMR system
