Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Rotating Weekends | No Call | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a hybrid PCU/Medical-Surgical unit with patient ratios of up to 1:7 when assigned to the MS side
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms as part of routine patient assessment
• Participate in rotating weekend assignments as part of the standard schedule
• Actively support nursing student clinical education and preceptorship alongside the provision of direct patient care
• Complete required orientation modules and compliance activities, including online computer-based learning (CBLs), as part of onboarding

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• AHA BLS certification required (AHA is the only accepted certifying body)
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Must be available and committed to completing drug testing within 12–14 calendar days prior to start date, with flexibility to return to the lab a second time if needed
• Relias EKG testing must be completed within 72 hours of signing; two attempts are permitted — failure to complete or pass within this window may result in cancellation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AHA ACLS certification preferred (AHA is the only accepted certifying body)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
• Telemetry experience preferred
