Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2–3
• Assess, monitor, and respond to patients presenting with emergent and urgent conditions
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health record systems
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as applicable to facility needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required; first-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• Active Oklahoma RN license or valid Compact RN license required — pending licensure will not be accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and De-escalation Course
• Must live within 45 miles of the facility to be considered a local candidate; locals are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech charting system preferred
• Ability to accommodate a block schedule is a plus
