Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy, electrolytes, and blood products in an outpatient infusion setting
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:6–7 in a high-volume oncology infusion environment
- Collaborate with an adjacent oncology urgent care team to support add-on patients or those requiring provider assessment
- Float within specialty and acuity as required — travelers are expected to float first
- Document all patient care using EPIC electronic health records
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Maryland or a valid Compact license at time of submission
- BLS and ACLS certification required — American Heart Association (AHA) only
- Minimum 2 years of oncology and/or infusion nursing experience
- CPI certification required as part of compliance onboarding (Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor)
- Comfortable floating within scope and acuity with no restrictions or special scheduling requests
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — locals under 50 miles are not accepted unless explicitly stated otherwise
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Chemotherapy certification preferred (ONS or ONCC)
- First-time travelers considered with strong oncology and/or infusion background
- Prior experience with EPIC charting system
