Registered Nurse – MedSurg/Telemetry

Contract | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week | 3x12-hour shifts | Every other weekend | Every other holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a MedSurg/Telemetry unit with a strong focus on telemetry monitoring and neurological assessment
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Perform neurological assessments and implement care plans for neuro patients
- Float to similar units as needed to support staffing requirements
- Complete a telemetry competency test during the first day of orientation
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License required
- BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association) required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Demonstrated proficiency in telemetry and neurology nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech electronic health record system
- Comfort and flexibility with floating to similar units
