Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed NeuroTrauma ICU at a Level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke center, maintaining a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Manage and titrate drips including vasopressors, inotropes, sedatives, analgesics, metabolic agents, and specialized infusions
• Care for patients with diagnoses including stroke, neuro, trauma, orthopedic, surgical, and medical conditions
• Independently read and interpret cardiac monitor strips using Philips monitoring systems
• Collaborate with in-house intensivists and 24/7 respiratory therapy staff supporting ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy
• Complete 8 hours of required annual trauma and stroke education in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of Colorado (or compact eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Must be available and present in-state for the full week of orientation
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; valid driver's license must be submitted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 1 year of trauma/surgical and neuro critical care experience preferred
• CRRT experience preferred
• TCAR experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, and ability to work effectively within a team
