Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) required; weekdays flexible

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 25-bed Medical Surgical unit with a night shift ratio of 6:1
• Perform IV placement and Foley catheter insertion as standard unit procedures
• Administer and manage medications using Pyxis dispensing cabinets and IV pumps
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic health record system
• Conduct hourly rounding and adhere to patient experience standards including BSSR protocols
• Float between Medical Surgical units as needed per unit floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Strong patient assessment skills
• Demonstrated experience with IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• CPI certification preferred
• Familiarity with remote telemetry monitoring and virtual sitter technology
• Experience with wound VAC and Sara Steady lift equipment
