Job Title

PCU / Surgical Stepdown – Registered Nurse (Travel)

Location

Calhoun, GA | PCU / Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a PCU / Surgical Stepdown setting during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care, identifying and responding to changes in condition
• Float to PCU or Med/Surg units as needed based on staffing and census demands
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Georgia (or compact license eligibility)
• Current BLS certification required
• Prior experience in a PCU, Stepdown, or IMC setting
• Ability and willingness to float to PCU or Med/Surg units as needed
• Availability to work every other weekend

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with surgical stepdown or intermediate care patient populations
• Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
