Job Title

MRI Technologist

Location

Southampton, NY | Outpatient / Multi-Site

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Variable day shifts, including possible every-Saturday rotation | Expected 37.5 hours/week | 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging exams for patients of all ages while adhering to established safety procedures and protocols
• Operate MRI equipment, prepare patients for procedures, and ensure sufficient diagnostic information is obtained
• Present images to the supervising physician and assist in patient management
• Perform intravenous therapy, contrast selection, and contrast injection
• Prepare and maintain written documentation as required by the department, including informed consent forms

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
• ARRT certification and NYSDOH license required
• BLS certification required
• Certification to perform contrast injections required
• Specialized training in MRI technology and cross-sectional anatomy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working across multiple clinical sites
• Strong patient communication skills across all age groups
