Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Rotational Call Required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in an acute care hospital setting
- Participate in rotational on-call coverage: weekday call from 5:00 PM – 6:00 AM and weekend call from 8:00 AM – 7:00 AM
- Document and chart patient information using Epic EMR
- May be required to float to other facilities within the health system as needed
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification required
- Active CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Active California state license must be in hand prior to start — pending licensure not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required
- LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days is required prior to start
- Candidates within 50 miles of the facility are considered local; locals are welcome to apply
- No open license or background hits will be approved — all license and background disclosures must be made at time of submission
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required during compliance process prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in an acute care hospital environment
- Familiarity with Epic EMR charting system
- Experience with rotational call schedules in a high-volume setting
