Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care (IMC) setting, with patients presenting conditions such as hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, bowel obstructions, and general medical/surgical needs
• Float between IMC, Orthopedic, and Rehabilitation units as needed
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation and charting
• Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements, with an expectation to work at least one to two major holidays per contract period
• May provide care for COVID-positive patients as needed
• Comply with facility policies, including a tobacco-free and fragrance-free environment

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license — no license hits accepted
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown setting
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• NIHSS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard contract rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EPIC electronic health records experience strongly preferred
• Experience floating across IMC, Orthopedic, and Rehabilitation units
• Familiarity with orthopedic and rehabilitation patient populations
