Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within an 11-room Operating Room department
• Support and assist with total joint replacement procedures, including total knee, hip, and shoulder surgeries
• Apply orthopedic and bariatric surgical nursing knowledge throughout the perioperative process
• Participate in on-call rotation, including both weekday and weekend call as required
• Adhere to facility dress code; scrubs are provided by the OR department

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Virginia or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of total joint replacement procedures (knee, hip, and shoulder) — required
• Orthopedic and bariatric surgical experience — required
• Ability and willingness to participate in on-call scheduling, including weekends

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a surgical or perioperative setting
• Familiarity with a high-volume, multi-room OR environment
• CNOR certification or equivalent perioperative nursing credential
