Contract | Travel | 8-Week Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM (end times may vary based on case volume)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a 2-room OR suite with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Function in circulator and/or scrub roles with assistant support available
• Perform and assist with a full range of orthopedic procedures including total joints (hips, knees, shoulders), arthroscopic sports procedures, spine (ACDF, lumbar laminectomy), podiatry, and hand surgeries
• Complete documentation using a paper charting system
• May be required to float to other centers within the division or area as needed
• Maintain compliance with all unit-specific guidelines and patient experience standards

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Virginia (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 1–2 years of general Operating Room experience
• Minimum 1–2 years of Orthopedic/Spine OR experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced experience with orthopedic total joints and sports procedures (arthroscopy)
• Experience with spine procedures including ACDF and lumbar laminectomy
• Familiarity with podiatry and hand surgical procedures
• Comfort working in an ambulatory surgery center environment
