Travel RN – Newborn Nursery

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to newborns in a hospital nursery setting
• Monitor and assess the health and development of newborn patients
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate and support new parents on newborn care, feeding, and safety
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Virginia or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Newborn Nursery or related neonatal nursing
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience with newborn assessment and care in an acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
