Key Responsibilities

• Operate MRI imaging and related equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images across various body areas, including advanced study areas
• Interview and prepare patients by explaining MRI procedures, addressing concerns with tact and professionalism
• Ensure patient safety through pre-screening for contraindications and proper aseptic IV injection technique; IV injection capability is required
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and other clinical customers regarding study findings and patient status
• Train new technologists and patient coordinators, providing guidance and quality checks as an experienced onsite team member
• Troubleshoot scanner, PACS, coils, monitors, and peripheral equipment to minimize downtime and escalate complex issues as appropriate

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• BLS CPR certification through the American Heart Association required
• Ability to perform IV injections independently
• Valid state driver's license as applicable
• Ability to work in a self-directed environment with local travel as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience in a high-volume environment
• Proficiency running advanced MR studies independently
• Demonstrated experience managing customer interactions and resolving issues to mutual satisfaction
