MRI Technologist – Trainer

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (3–6 Months) | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Tuesday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM | No call | No weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with facility protocols and standards of care
• Train and support less experienced MRI staff, serving as a clinical resource and mentor on shift
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, including Siemens MRI systems
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and workflow management
• Float to other areas as needed per facility policy
• Participate in holiday coverage scheduling as mutually agreed upon

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of MRI technologist experience, including experience training and supporting less experienced MRI staff
• Siemens MRI equipment experience required
• Epic EMR experience within the past 18 months required; must be clearly documented on candidate profile including where Epic was utilized — candidates must pass the Epic competency exam on the first attempt
• Active compact or Tennessee state license required at time of submission
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• GE PACS experience preferred
• Prior experience in a travel or multi-site clinical environment
