Registered Nurse – PACU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | 10-hour shifts, alternating with 12-hour shifts on a weekly basis | Shift start 6:45 AM with call requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinically competent nursing care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions
• Maintain compliance with unit protocols and standards of nursing practice
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by the department schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a PACU setting
• Experience with Endoscopy (ENDO) procedures and patient care
