Physical Therapist – Acute Care Travel Contract

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services across acute care and outpatient settings within a critical access hospital environment
• Deliver pelvic health and pediatric physical therapy as a core component of the role
• Manage 1-on-1 patient care in outpatient, acute, and short-term rehabilitation settings
• Utilize facility EHR systems including Redoc (outpatient) and Paragon (acute and short-term rehab)
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license valid in North Carolina (or compact eligibility)
• Pelvic health and pediatric physical therapy experience required
• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel consideration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in orthopedic physical therapy
• Experience in neurological physical therapy
• Prior experience in a critical access or rural hospital setting
