Job Title

Travel: RN PACU (Ambulatory - 4x10's - Days)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | Varied 4x10s, start times between 6:15–8:30 AM | No weekends | No on-call | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care for patients in an ambulatory surgery setting
• Deliver PACU-level care with a patient ratio of 2:1 across a 6 OR bed unit
• Care for pediatric patients, requiring experience with children in Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU environments
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR (required)
• Adhere to facility dress code; scrubs will be provided

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — Virginia State License or Compact License required
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (AHA) required
• Minimum 2+ years of Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU experience, including experience with pediatric patients
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR (required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an ambulatory or outpatient surgical environment
• Strong pre-operative assessment and patient preparation skills
