Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit serving adult and geriatric populations
• Manage a patient ratio of 6:1, utilizing equipment such as bladder scanners and glucometers
• Care for patients presenting with common diagnoses including pneumonia, CVA, chest pain, post-surgical recovery, electrolyte imbalances, and DVT
• Document patient care accurately using the Medhost EHR system
• Maintain current BLS certification and all required credentials prior to assignment start

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for practice in the state of Tennessee
• BLS certification required prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• All clinical staff must be cleared through the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start date; results required before beginning
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Critical care thinking and clinical decision-making skills
• Experience with Medhost or similar EHR platforms
• Background working with adult and geriatric patient populations
