Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Rotating Weekends | Expected 36 hours/week | No call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting with a 4:1 patient ratio in an 11-bed unit
• Administer IV medications and manage critical care drips
• Utilize the Paragon EHR system for accurate and timely documentation
• Deliver care across rotating weekend shifts as part of a collaborative night shift team
• Occasional float to a nearby Emergency Department may be required on a rare basis

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Minimum 1+ year of Emergency Room or critical care nursing experience
• Proficiency in IV administration and management of critical care drips
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Emergency Department or critical care setting
• Familiarity with Paragon or similar EHR platforms
• Experience working in a high-volume or comprehensive ED environment
