Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Contract | Days, 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:30–16:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general nuclear medicine imaging procedures including HIDA, Bone, Gastric Emptying, Lung Scan, GI Bleeds, Brain Death, and Thyroid studies
• Administer and support therapy procedures including I-131 and Sm-153
• Conduct cardiac nuclear stress testing and plain treadmill studies
• Perform PET imaging including FDG Oncology, FDG Infection, PSMA, Neuroendocrine, and Cardiac Viability scans
• Image both inpatient and outpatient populations within a full-service Nuclear Medicine department
• Maintain active BLS and ARRT certifications throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required
• BLS certification required
• Active, non-pending Mississippi state license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
• At least one prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a full-service Nuclear Medicine department covering general, therapy, cardiac, and PET modalities
• Familiarity with both inpatient and outpatient imaging workflows
• Flexibility to pick up weekend shifts as available
