MRI Technologist – Travel Contract

Location

Somerset, KY | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Onsite | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures in an acute care setting, including interventional MRI studies
• Operate Hitachi open magnet MRI equipment safely and proficiently
• Ensure image quality and patient safety throughout all scanning procedures
• Collaborate with clinical staff and physicians across a multi-specialty medical environment
• May be required to float to locations within a 25-mile radius of the primary facility
• Adhere to all facility protocols, dress codes, and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of MRI experience in an acute care facility
• All required certifications must be obtained and verified prior to start date
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Significant hands-on experience operating Hitachi MRI equipment, particularly open magnet systems
• Experience in interventional MRI procedures
• Familiarity with acute care environments serving diverse patient populations across a multi-county service area
