Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with facility protocols and safety standards
- Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images for physician interpretation
- Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns
- Participate in an on-call rotation that averages approximately 1 week every 6 weeks
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures
Required Qualifications
- Current ARRT certification in MRI or equivalent state-recognized credential
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability and willingness to participate in on-call rotation
- Compliance with all applicable state and facility credentialing requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a hospital or acute care imaging environment
- Familiarity with a broad range of MRI protocols and patient populations
- Strong patient communication and customer service skills
